A similar share this season would translate to roughly 29 targets. Of course, Howard has shown the ability to score touchdowns in his career. That isn’t even RB2 production, which means there’s a darn good chance Howard is going to be overdrafted and end up as a fantasy disappointment. However, even early-down workhorses like Jay Ajayi and LeGarrette Blount didn’t see feature workloads. In his first four seasons, Howard has only surpassed 25 receptions once, and that was in his rookie season (29). Some (including myself) would argue that is likely his floor for the upcoming season.
