The Philadelphia Eagles did not necessarily have a pretty night in San Francisco to close Sunday's Week 4 action, but they did, in fact, get the job done.

8:36 p.m. —  Philladelphia finally gets a drive going, and then Wentz panicks as the pocket collapses, tries to throw it over the middle but it gets tipped and picked off.

They came out hot and jumped out to a 21-6 lead before staving off a late comeback attempt by Los Angeles. This is the series the defense needed after a bad miscue by the offense. A bad snap turns a first-and-10 into a second-and-27 for the Eagles with 1:30 left in the first half at their own 38. Call on the field was a first down but it looks like it might be overturned. That turnover set up Philly's go-ahead drive and completely swung momentum back in the visitors' favor, with the Eagles also picking Mullens off San Francisco's subsequent drive.
